Resumption of normal operations at our Registration Area Office for Arima/Piarco

The Elections and Boundaries Commission is advising the public of the resumption of normal operations at its Registration Area Office for Arima/Piarco, effective Thursday 5th May, 2022.

The Arima/Piarco Registration Area Office was forced to close its doors to the public on May 3, 2022 due to an electrical issue in the building that hindered our ability to conduct transactions.

The EBC apologizes for any inconvenience that the unplanned closure of this office may have caused and looks forward to being of continued service to our citizenry.

San Juan it’s your turn!

The Elections and Boundaries Commission will be establishing a temporary Registration Office at the Barataria Community Centre, located at Lower Sixth Ave (Ext.), Barataria on May 6 & 7 and 13 & 14, 2022.

This Temporary Registration Office is being established primarily to facilitate persons who need to renew their expired identification cards.

No appointment is necessary, however ONLY persons served by the Registration Area Office for San Juan will be facilitated.

Persons who have confirmed appointments will also be accommodated and are asked to walk with their appointment confirmation receipts.

Normal Operations resume at the EBC’s Registration Area Office for San Fernando and Penal/Debe

Persons are advised of the resumption of normal operations at the EBC’s Registration Area Office for San Fernando and Penal/Debe, located at 194 Circular Road, San Fernando effective today, Wednesday 4th May, 2022.

Our Registration Office for Arima/Piarco however, remains closed to the public.

We apologize for any inconvenience that this disruption to our services may cause.


Temporary Closure of the EBC’s Registration Area Office for Arima/Piarco

The Elections and Boundaries Commission (EBC) is advising of the unforeseen yet temporary closure of its Registration Area Office for Arima/Piarco located at Cor. Pro Queen Street and Robinson Circular Arima on Tuesday May 3, 2022.

The closure of this office has become necessary due to an electrical issue affecting the building. All persons with scheduled appointments will be contacted to have their appointments rescheduled and no other transactions can be facilitated.

The EBC apologizes for the inconvenience that this unplanned closure has caused and will advise of the resumption of normal operations at this Office as soon as the issue has been rectified.

Temporary Closure of the Registration Area Office for San Fernando and Penal/Debe

The Elections and Boundaries Commission (EBC) is advising of the temporary closure of its Registration Area Office for San Fernando and Penal/Debe located at 194 Circular Road, San Fernando on Tuesday May 3, 2022.

The closure of this office has become necessary to facilitate an inspection of the premises for a public health issue. All persons with scheduled appointments will be contacted to have their appointments rescheduled and no other transactions can be facilitated.

The EBC apologizes for the inconvenience that the temporary closure of this office may cause.

Revised Schedule for the EBC’s Temporary Registration Offices for the period April 29, 2022 to May 1, 2022

The Elections and Boundaries Commission (EBC) wishes to advise that there are changes to some of the venues and dates for its Temporary Registration Offices.

These changes will affect the previously advertised schedule for the Chaguanas, San Fernando and Penal/Debe Temporary Registration Offices.

The dates and venues for the Temporary Registration Office for Couva and San Juan remain unchanged.

Telephone line at the Registration Area Office for San Juan temporarily out of service

The Elections and Boundaries Commission wishes to advise that the telephone line at the Registration Area Office for San Juan is temporarily out of service.

Persons wishing to contact this Office can do so via our Hotline numbers at 785-8206 or 785-8211.

The Commission apologies for any inconvenience this disruption may cause and will advise in a timely manner of the restoration of this service.


EBC establishes Temporary Registration Offices

The Elections and Boundaries Commission is establishing temporary Registration Offices in Registration Areas with the highest level of demand for booked appointments for the renewal of expired identification cards.

Temporary Closure of the EBC’s Registration Area Office for San Juan

The Elections and Boundaries Commission (EBC) is advising the public of the temporary closure of its Registration Area Office for San Juan, located at 125, Eastern Main Road, Barataria on Friday 18th and Saturday 19th March, 2022.

Persons with appointments on these days would have been contacted to have their confirmed appointments re-scheduled. The temporary closure of this Registration Area Office is to facilitate a scheduled visit from the Insect Vector Unit of the Ministry of Health.

The EBC apologizes for any inconvenience that the temporary closure of this Office may cause but gives the assurance that it is in the interest of public health.

Normal operations at this Office will resume on Monday 21st March, 2022.
