Temporary Registration Office for San Juan

The Elections and Boundaries Commission will establish a temporary Registration Area Office for San Juan/Barataria at the Cantaro Community Centre on July 23-24, 2022 to facilitate the renewal of expired National Identification Cards.

Persons who need to renew their expired National Identification Card, or persons whose ID card will soon expire* (*up to two months before the expiration on the identification card) can visit the Cantaro Community Centre located at the corner of James and Charles Streets, Cantaro Village, Upper Santa Cruz as follows:

Saturday 23 July from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m.

Sunday 24 July from 9:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m.

NO APPOINTMENT IS NECESSARY, however persons will be required to walk with their ID card and their electronic Birth Certificate, this is EITHER the “blue” Birth Certificate or the polymer Birth Certificate.

It’s your turn Princes Town!

The Elections and Boundaries Commission will be establishing a temporary Registration Area Office for Princes Town on Saturday 16th and Sunday 17th July, 2022.

This temporary Registration Area Office will operate between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the aforementioned dates at 115 Matilda Road, Princes Town (obliquely opposite the Matilda Open Bible Church).

NO APPOINTMENT IS NEEDED. ONLY PERSONS REGISTERED OR LIVING IN THE REGISTRATION AREA OF PRINCES TOWN CAN BE FACILITATED.

Persons are asked to provide their electronic Birth Certificate, that is EITHER the “blue” birth certificate or the polymer birth certificate as well as the expired ID card for their transaction.

Persons who had previously made appointments can also conduct their transaction on either of these days and are asked to provide the confirmation receipt of appointment.

EBC’s Head Office to close from midday on July 8, 2022

The Elections and Boundaries Commission wishes to advise that its offices, located at Scott House, Frederick Street, Port of Spain, will be closed from midday on Friday 8th July, 2022.

This office closure has become necessary to facilitate scheduled spraying of the premises by the Insect Vector Unit of the Ministry of Health.

Persons with appointments that will be affected will be contacted to have their appointments rescheduled.

The EBC apologizes for any inconvenience this closure may cause and gives the assurance that normal operations at this office will resume on Monday 11th July.

Arima & Piarco….we’re back!

The Elections and Boundaries Commission (EBC) will establish a Temporary Registration Area Office for Arima & Piarco, this Saturday and Sunday, July 9th and 10th, 2022.

This temporary Registration Area Office will operate between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the aforementioned dates at the Bon Air Village Plaza, Corner Priority Bus Route and Bon Air Gardens, Arouca.

NO APPOINTMENT IS NEEDED. ONLY PERSONS REGISTERED OR LIVING IN THE REGISTRATION AREA OF ARIMA & PIARCO CAN BE FACILITATED.

Persons are asked to provide their electronic Birth Certificate, that is EITHER the “blue” birth certificate of the polymer birth certificate for their transaction.

Persons who had previously made appointments can also conduct their transaction on either of these days and are asked to provide the confirmation receipt of appointment.

This initiative is designed to assist persons in need of renewing their expired national identification cards. This is the second such initiative for the Registration Area of Arima & Piarco. The EBC established a temporary Registration Area Office on April 8th and 9th, 2022 at the same Bon Air Village Plaza and then on April 22nd and 23rd, 2022 at the Bon Air Gardens Community Centre, Emperor Boulevard, Bon Air.

Our Offices are open… normal operations resume

Please be advised that our offices are all open after being closed from noon on Tuesday 28th June, 2022, due to the impending passage of Tropical Cyclone #2.

Persons with appointments that had to be postponed due to the unforeseen closure of our offices yesterday, can walk in, from today, Wednesday 29th June to Friday 1st July, 2022 to conduct your transaction.

Closure of EBC offices due to passage of Tropical Storm

The Elections and Boundaries Commission (EBC) is advising of the closure of all its offices across both Trinidad and Tobago on Tuesday 28th June, 2022 from 12:00 p.m.

The closure has become necessary due to the passage of Tropical Storm Bonnie, which is projected to make landfall later today.

All persons with appointments for June 28, 2022 after noon will have their appointments rescheduled.

The EBC apologizes for the inconvenience that the closure of our offices may cause but assures that it has become necessary in the interest of public safety. The public will be advised of the resumption of our offices as soon as practicable.

The public is advised to adhere to advisories issued from reliable and credible sources and take the necessary precautions to safeguard life, property and possessions at this time.

We’re coming to the Diego Martin South Community Centre

The Elections and Boundaries Commission (EBC) will establish a Temporary Registration Office to facilitate persons registered in the Diego Martin Registration Area who need to renew expired identification cards or ID cards that will soon expire*.

This temporary Registration Area Office will operate on Saturday 25th and Sunday 26th June, 2022 from 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. at the Diego Martin South Community Centre, located on Senior Street, La Puerta Avenue, Four Roads, Diego Martin.

No appointment is needed and persons who already made an appointment through the EBC’s Online Appointment Portal will also be facilitated. Persons with appointments will be required to present their Confirmation Receipt when conducting their tranaction.

Temporary disruption of service at the Registration Area Office for Tabaquite/Talparo

UPDATED: NORMAL OPERATIONS HAVE RESUMED

The Elections and Boundaries Commission (EBC) is advising the public that its Registration Area Office for Tabaquite/Talparo, located at 47 Mulchan Seuchan Road, Chaguanas (First Floor) is closed for the remainder of today, May 26, 2022.

The EBC apologizes for the unforeseen closure of this Registration Office, but it was  necessary to address an emergent issue. Persons with confirmed appointments have been contacted. These appointments will be rescheduled.

The EBC apologizes for any inconvenience that this disruption may cause and will advise, as soon as practicable, of the resumption of normal opeations at this Registration Area Office.

The Elections and Boundaries Commission (EBC) will open its doors at the Registration Area Office for Couva, this Saturday and Sunday, May 28th and 29th, 2022 to facilitate persons who are in need of its services.

ALL TRANSACTIONS WILL BE FACILITATED. NO APPOINTMENT NECESSARY.

Perosns who had previously made appointments can also conduct their transactions on these days and are asked to provide the confirmation receipt of appointment.

This temporary Registration Area Office will operate between the hours of 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on the aforementioned dates at the Registration Area Office for Couva, located at TECU Building, 80-82 Southern Main Road, Couva.
