Please be advised that the Special Polling Stations established by Returning Officers in accordance with Election Rule 73 of the Representation of the People Act, Chap 2:01 for these upcoming elections will function from Monday 3rd to Sunday 9th, 2020.

Special Polling Stations established at the Offices of the Returning Officers

The public is advised that the EBC’s Siparia Registration Area Office will be temporarily closed on Tuesday 4th August, 2020.

All persons who applied to be so treated as Special Electors for the upcoming polls and identified the Siparia Registration Area Office to collect their special envelopes can collect at the San Fernando & Penal/Debe Registration Area Sub-Office on Tuesday 4th August, 2020 ONLY.

Temporary Closure of Siparia Office

All persons who applied to be treated as Special Electors for this upcoming Parliamentary Elections can collect their Special Envelopes at the Registration Area Office specified on their application forms. These offices will be open for collection from Friday, July 31st, 2020 to Saturday, August 8th, 2020.

Polling Agents are essential stakeholders in the election process. It is therefore crticial in the role of an appointed polling agent that this person seeks the interest of his/her candidate. The only way to successfully do this is to become familiar with the activities that take place in a polling station.

There are nineteen (19) political parties fielding candidates in this upcoming Parliamentary Elections and a total of one hundred and fifty candidates vying for seats in the forty-one constituencies across both Trinidad and Tobago.

Addresses of Returning Officers

The Elections and Boundaries Commission is currently processing applications from persons eligible to be treated as Special Electors for the 2020 Parliamentary Elections.
