In accordance with Election Rule 16(1) of the Representation of the People Act, Chapter 2:01, Returning Officers and by extension the Elections and Boundaries Commission (EBC) are to, as soon as practicable after Nomination Day, give notice of the following:
- The day on which and the hours during which the poll will be taken;
- The location of each polling station;
- The name, address, occupation of each candidate for election as given on his/her nomination papers and the symbol of the political party to which he/she is affiliated. In the case of independent candidates, the symbol that is assigned to them is also made public.
