Re-opening of EBC’s Offices
The Elections and Boundaries Commission advises that ALL its Registration Offices and Registration Sub-offices, which were closed to the public due to the Government’s Stay at Home Order, will re-open and resume operations on Monday, June 8, 2020.

Extension of validity of national identification cards
The Elections and Boundaries Commission wishes to advise that ALL identification cards issued by the Commission that have ALREADY EXPIRED as well as those due to expire in 2020, shall be valid until December 31, 2020.

With an electorate of 1,079,976 in 139 electoral districts in Trinidad, there was a voter turn-out of 34.49%.

The Listing of Special Polling Stations established by Returning Officers for the 2019 Local Government Elections
The Elections and Boundaries Commission wishes to advise the public that the SPECIAL POLLING STATIONS established by Returning Officers, in accordance with Election Rule 73 of the Representation of the People Act, Chapter 2:01, for the upcoming Local Government Elections, 2019 will function from MONDAY 25th NOVEMBER to SUNDAY 1st DECEMBER, 2019.

Did you apply to be treated as a Special Elector? If so it’s time to collect your envelope that contains your ballot paper, which you will need to be able to vote.
