The public is advised that the Elections and Boundaries Commission’s (EBC’s) Registration Area Office and Sub-Office for Tobago will be closed to the public today, Wednesday 24th May, 2023.
The closure of the Registration Area Office located at Hamilton Street, Scarborough has become necessary due to maintenance work on overhead lines along the Claude Noel Highway conducted by the Trinidad and Tobago Electricity Commission. The Registration Area Sub-office located at the Roxborough Administrative Complex on Windward Road, Roxborough has also been affected by a disruption of electricity in that area, which has forced the closure of this office.
The EBC apologizes for the inconvenience that this unplanned disruption to our service at these specified offices may cause. Persons with appointments for the issuance of first national identification cards will be contacted to have their appointments rescheduled. All other persons are advised not to visit these offices today.
Normal operations will resume on Thursday 25th May, 2023.
